About Us

At On The Trigger, we specialize in personal success, no matter what level of training. We place safety and instruction at the top of each class and we strive to see each applicant gain the skill and knowledge necessary to progress as an individual. Our concealed weapons classes are open to adults (21 years of age minimum). This is a mandated (8) hour class and the applicant will be tested on legal mandates and safety in the classroom, before proceeding to the range where applicants will demonstrate proficiency. This is a S.L.E.D. approved curiculum and On The Trigger reserves the right to extend the duration of class time (either class and/or range). Our security classes are open to licensed agencies

and we offer certification in Level 1- 2 - and 3. All S.L.E.D. mandated criteria is implemented. Level 1 familiarizes the "officer applicant" with state legal mandates, safety issues, officer standards. A written examination is given to ensure that the applicant

will demonstrate "officer" status. Level 2 and 3 prepare

the officer for "armed" status and require classroom and firing range proficiency; all S.L.E.D. mandates are incorporated in each block of instruction. We value the opportunity to work with private citizens and agency professionals and we incorporate the highest industry standards; thus our slogan, "WE TRAIN.....YOU GAIN".

All C.W.P. Class Applicants Must :

*leave all weapons in vehicle upon arrival

*use eye/ear protection on the range

*obey instructors commands at all times

*pass written exam before proceeding to range

On The Trigger Recognizes and Congratulates Emily Large, the January Recepient of the "On The Trigger Top Shot Award". Emily scored 92% on her written exam and turned in a perfect 250 score on the range for a total score of 342, high score for the month of January. Lil' lady packs a big gun ya'll,,,,,, way to go Emily.
